The CanAssist board decided in 2012 that the added cost (approximately $3000) of having a complete financial audit was not necessary and that those finances could better be spent on improving infrastructure in East African Communities.   
Collins Barrow did, however, review CanAssist financial documents for the year and prepared the 2012 CRA tax return. A complete audit was last done in 2011. The financial statement from Collins Barrow can be found at the by clicking on the link above.
